Monster Sings is a gentle, magical story about courage, curiosity, and an unexpected friendship.
One night, Jeremy is awakened by beautiful singing drifting from his closet. Instead of scary noises he would expect,
the voice is rich, emotional, and strangely comforting. Though frightened, Jeremy slowly builds the courage to open
the closet door. Inside, he discovers Kryles, a Borgile—a monster species known not for terror, but for their singing.
Kryles explains that all Borgiles are born to sing, but only in the dark.
As the night unfolds, Jeremy learns that monsters are not always what stories make them out to be.
Kryles isn’t there to scare him; he simply needs a quiet and dark place to practice his singing.
Through their encounter, Jeremy overcomes his fear and gains a new understanding of empathy, while Kryles finds
acceptance for his gift.
The story highlights how fear often comes from the unknown, and how beauty and friendship can be found
in the most unexpected places.
